BRINGING CHRIST'S LOVE TO THOSE IN
NEED
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Rita Conference is a voluntary ministry dedicated to serving those in need within our community. Inspired by the mission of St. Vincent de Paul, we strive to provide compassionate assistance, hope, and support to our neighbors in Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport, Destin and within the city limits of Defuniak Springs.
Join us in making a difference — whether through volunteering, donations, or prayer. Together, we can bring hope and kindness to those who need it most.
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
Many individuals lack a financial safety net. A single unexpected expense—such as a job loss, medical emergency, or car repair—can quickly lead to a crisis that threatens their stability. We offer assistance with housing costs and car expenses to help prevent homelessness and promote stability for those in need.
Ask yourself, "Who is my neighbor? Who is Christ calling me to care for today?" Join us in supporting our neighbors and helping them carry their heavy crosses.

“I was SO grateful for St. Vincent de Paul and the people who came to see me. In addition to helping me pay my bills, I felt that they really listened to my story and saw me as a real person. I was so touched by their compassion, as they gave me hope and reminded me of my faith in God.”

We will have repairs made and gift it to someone who is in need. Reliable transportation is essential for individuals and families to access vital resources such as work, medical appointments, groceries, and other essential services. By assisting with transportation, we aim to promote independence, improve quality of life, and help people overcome barriers that keep them in poverty. Our work reflects the core mission of serving those in need and fostering hope and dignity through practical support.
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me."
